Licence to perform dogging
Course Description
This course will give you the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake the duties of a dogman. You will learn slinging techniques, including selection and inspection of lifting gear and equipment, directing crane operations in the movement of a load, risk management processes relating to lifting operations, communication and crane characteristics and types.

Career Opportunities
Upon successful completion of the Dogging course, licence holders will be able to work in the civil or resource industries where crane operations are being undertaken. Up to 75% or workers on some large construction sites hold a dogman ticket, making this licence a well sought-after skill set within the industry.

Course Requirements
To obtain a High Risk Work Licence, students must be 18 years of age to complete final assessments and apply to Workplace Health and Safety Queensland for their licence.

Course Delivery
- This course requires face-to-face training and is delivered at our DGT facilities in Toowoomba or Brisbane (Meadowbrook), or alternatively can be delivered on-site for clients with suitable industry training facilities and resources to complete all training and assessment requirements.
Program Length
- 5 days with training and assessment completed in the duration of the course.
