DGT Trade Ready Program.
Are you ready to build a career in the construction industry?
Participants will undertake skills training and development in a safe, simulated work environment before undertaking a Structured Workplace Learning activity with one of our supporting Construction partners.
Trade Ready provides participants with the foundations to enter the Building and Construction industry with technical training and employability skills.
Trade Ready is conducted over a five-week period with the subjects designed to suit the specific region and employer requirements.

These programs combine training and on the job work experience with the aim of getting participants permanent work or an Apprenticeship once completed.

- Qld residents with Australia or New Zealand citizenship who are no longer at school.
- White Card or ability to obtain one.

The program is conducted over five weeks, including two weeks of skills and employability training and three weeks structured workplace learning, providing direct exposure to a variety of construction trades and professions.
