Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control (ACDC)
Course Description
In Queensland an Agricultural Distribution Control / Commercial Operators Licence is required for those who ground spray herbicides with a powered machine as part of a job on land they don’t own or occupy. This training course includes the theoretical and practical components of the competencies chosen by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries to obtain the skills and knowledge required to apply and hold an ACDC Licence.
You will learn legislation and licencing, labels, safety data sheets (SDS), chemical transport, storage, disposal, record keeping and spill control, handling, mixing and applying chemicals, personal protective equipment, equipment and calibration.
Career Opportunities
Successful completion of this course and application for a Commercial Operator licence will enable you to utilise agricultural chemicals in a number of environments, including farming, agriculture, horticulture, grounds and maintenance, contract spraying, land care, green keeping, rural pest management, vegetable growers, orchards and more.

Course Delivery
- This course is delivered face-to-face at Delivered at DGT Training Centres in Toowoomba and Brisbane (Meadowbrook), or alternatively can be delivered on-site for clients with suitable industry training facilities and resources to complete all training and assessment requirements.

- Two days with training and assessment completed in the duration of the course.
