Round 2 of the series saw him return to his home track here in Twmba and in the lead up to the meet he worked tirelessly on the kart trying to get the set up right to stay in touch with the series leaders. His efforts saw him win 4 out of 4 races for the 2nd round which put him in the lead going into the 3rd round.

REIGNING CHAMPION - WINTER CARNIVAL TOOWOOMBA

The annual Winter Carnival hosted by the Toowoomba karting club held throughout June, July and August saw Trent claim his 3rd successive Championship!  Throughout the carnival finishing in the top spot in 11 out of the 12 races, with a 2nd in the 12th.

The kart was then due for major repairs after the team returned home from Gympie. They fully stripped and rebuilt the body, checked over all alignments, tested all controls and then set up ready for the series decider.

CHAMPION - SOUTHERN QLD ZONE SERIES

Held in Ipswich the stage was set for the 4th and final round of the Southern QLD Zone series to crown our champion!!

The final round attracted a prestigious field of drivers including the current Australian Rotax champion as well as former go kart racer - now V8 Supercar driver Chas Mostert.

Trent qualified 10th fastest out of a field of 15 and finished in the top half of the field in the 1st heat and pre-final. The 18 lap final to determine the Zone series champion was a toughly contended race, with the 3 drivers who held the top 3 positions in the series aiming to clinch the Zone title.
