Trent had an impeccable and unbeaten record for the 2nd round of the Southern Zone Challenge at his home track in Toowoomba yesterday.

After finishing 3rd in the 1st round at Warwick last month Trent was determined to turn the result around and worked hard prior to the weekend setting the kart up and trying a few different set ups on Saturday in practice.

Our Trent qualified fastest in Sunday mornings qualifying session putting him on pole position for the 1st heat which he won and lead from start to finish. The 2nd heat saw him start from pole again and again he lead the entire race and had a comfortable win as he crossed the finish line.

The pre-final saw him once again take pole position due to his winning streak in the previous 2 heats. There was significant challenge to his first place position and he worked hard to claim victory. The 10 lap final was a repeat result from the previous 3 heats and he held on nicely to take the win! This gave Trent a clean scorecard of 4 out of 4 wins for the day plus he received the trophy for the fastest lap!!

What an achievement for Trent and for his team.  

This result will put him on top of the leader board after 2 rounds of the series, stay tuned for the 3rd round results to follow in Gympie and the 4th and final round in Ipswich.
