The Apprenticeship Company provides a broad range of services for schools and has a school based field officer who specializes solely in school based programs for students and teachers. All our apprenticeship programs comply with the National Guidelines for Australian School-based Apprentices. Our services include:
- Class talks with qualified field officers
- Individually designed job ready programs for your school
- Mock interviews
- Organisation of work experience placements
- Worksite Workplace Health and Safety inspection prior to School-based apprentice/trainee (SAT) commencement
- Full induction for SAT and Parents including Workplace Health and Safety induction
- Quarterly progress reports for the School-based Coordinator for each apprentice/trainee including
- On the job performance
- Off the job performance progress
- Registered Training Organisation progress
- Workplace Health and Safety check
- Industrial Relations check
- Contact Details
- Quarterly onsite visit for each SAT as minimum. This may often be exceeded to fulfill pastoral care duties
- Regular checks on SAT’s wages and conditions to ensure Industrial Relations Legislation is adhered.
