Downs Group Training Awards Night 2008
Awards Night was held on Tuesday 13th May 2008.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea
  

Downs Group Training held an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on 22nd May 2008. With DGT staff, host employers and special guests   attending, the morning was a huge success. DGT would like to thank Boyd Yung Motor Cycles, The USQ Works Health & Recreation Club, Fernwood Gym, Mary Ryan’s Book Store, Quality Hotel Burke & Wills, Glenfords, Bunnings Warehouse, La Pizzaiola, Windmill Bakery, Toowoomba Netball Association and Oasis Health & Beauty Day Spa for donating raffle prizes and food. The event raised over $550.00 for The Cancer Council.

 


Daffodil Day
 

Over the month of August, Downs Group Training fundraised for The Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day. Merchandise sold and donations received totalled $134.00 contributing to the fight against cancer.

 


Footy Colours Day
 

The 5th September 2008 saw the Downs Group Training Office dressed in various team colours in support of Footy Colours Day. This day is in aid of the Fight Cancer Foundation and raising much needed funds for young people living with cancer. Downs Group Training raised approximately $50.00 towards the cause.

 


Pink Ribbon Day
On 27th October 2008, Downs Group Training held a Think Pink BBQ lunch. This was in aid of fundraising for Pink Ribbon Day and supporting women’s cancer. With lunch, the sale of merchandise and raffles, DGT managed to raise a total of $320.00 towards the fight for breast cancer & the Cancer Council.
Downs Group Training would like to thank Café Valetta for donating the raffle prize.
